Donnie
Blanz Speaks on
" The Cowboy Spirit"
Listen,
laugh and learn as Donnie Blanz presents hilarious
and poignant stories that exemplify the very essence
of The Cowboy Spirit. Let Donnie Blanz tell you
about the true origin of the real cowboys, their
code of honor and how, while driving cattle together,
they were the perfect example of teamwork. You
don't have to work cattle for a living or even
know how to ride a horse to have The Cowboy Spirit,
but having it can help you achieve success in life
or business. Through story and song, Donnie will
inspire you to find The Cowboy Spirit inside yourself
and help motivate you to use it.
The
Cowboy Spirit can be found in any walk of life. Donnie
Blanz found it in a martial arts career, where the
difference between success and serious, physical
injury was measured by inches and depended upon having
complete faith in one's mentor. You'll learn the
lessons of, "Perfect Practice" and "Attempting
To Break Boards" and you'll leave the room with
a much better grasp of what it takes to seek and
attain excellence in your life, even if you never
intend to pick a fight with a board! For the perfect
ending to a great day, top the evening off with an
acoustic, musical concert performed by one of America's
best loved Western singer/songwriters and a true
renaissance man, Donnie Blanz.
Donnie
Blanz also offers a team building program titled, "Team
Building In 4/4 Time," where the participants
will actually write a song with one of America's
most prolific and most recorded, contemporary Western
songwriters. Co-writing a song is all about teamwork.
The process involves communication, organization
and the determination needed to reach a common goal.
The lessons learned from this fun, "hands on" experience
can be applied to any situation from the boardroom
to the family dinner table.
This
highly acclaimed cowboy singer/songwriter was once
a staff writer for a music row publishing company
in Nashville. His songs have been recorded by America's
Cowboy, Chris LeDoux as well as the man who wrote "Mommas
Don't Let Your Babies Grow Up To Be Cowboys," Ed
Bruce, and The Voice Of The Westerns Channel, Bill
Barwick, just to mention a few. Also while living
in Nashville, Donnie became the Wood Procurement
Specialist for the Gibson Guitar Company. When Donnie
signed on in 1986, this struggling musical instrument
maker was at the bottom of the industry heap. By
the time he left in 1993, Gibson Guitar had become
the world's recognized leader in musical instrument
manufacturing. His points on, "Being A Corporate
Cowboy," will truly give you something to think
about!
As
well as being a former Black Belt Martial Arts Instructor
and Fitness Trainer for The American Tae Kwon Do
Association, Donnie Blanz is also an actor who has
appeared in six independent and student films. He
was also featured in Country Music Singer, Brad Paisley's
CMA and ACM Award nominated video, "He Didn't
Have To Be." Donnie's list of acting credits
also includes commercials for Zebco Fishing Rods,
Ford Automobiles, Winston Cup Racing, Intermedia
Cable and Cox Communications. He also lends his voice
to Readio Theatre and Topics Entertainment for their
Western series of audio books. You can even hear
Donnie's voice on the Nintendo video game, "Turock
- The Evolution" and the Japanese animated film
series, "Eden's Bowey."
