David
Hira opened his
first business, a bicycle repair shop, while
he was in the 8th grade.
He worked 4 jobs simultaneously throughout high school
and college, and later became the youngest
branch manager ever in a $3 1/2 billion dollar electronics
company,
a position he still currently holds.
At
age 27, David Hira opened Toshio's (Toe-shee-oh's)
a successful Japanese Restaurant
in Dallas, and later
became the founder and President of a continuing education
provider for the medical profession, teaching "A-Traumatic
Care" to the nursing industry in hospitals throughout
the United States.
At a peak of his performing popularity, in August of
1993, David was struck by an automobile as a pedestrian.
Rebuilding his life while keeping his family and business'
together in the face of tragedy is both inspirational
and educational. It's all about doing what others said
could not be done!

“
David Hira brought laughter to our day and the staff
is still talking about him. He was both entertaining
and uplifting and I would definitely recommend
him as a speaker for any occasion. He has a delightful
personality and it only takes a few minutes after he
starts speaking before you feel like an old friend.”
