Ms. Winslow's Bio
As an Indiana
native from very humble beginnings, Eleanora Winslow
feels blessed beyond
measure to have such a thriving career as a make-up
artist in the motion picture film industry.
Her illustrious career began
in Cleveland, Ohio where she became a licensed cosmetologist
and began representing such prestigious cosmetic companies
as Fashion Fair, Revlon, Charles of the Ritz, Helena
Rubenstein and Glemby Cosmetics as a beauty consultant.
She then relocated to New York City where she obtained
her second cosmetology license and her certification
as an esthetician from the famous Christina Valmy International
Skin Care School.
Ms. Winslow, while residing
in New York, owned and operated a full service skin
care salon while pursuing her career as an artist and
managing her son's modeling career. Having become one
of the most highly respected and sought after make-up
artists in the motion picture film industry, Ms. Winslow
has been transforming faces throughout this country
and abroad for over twenty years.
Her
artistry has been seen on the big screen in such
feature films as 'Mr. 3000,'
'The 25th Hour,' as well as, 'Dead Presidents', 'Cider
House Rules' and 'Beloved' respectively.
Ms.
Winslow's success in the motion picture film industry
has propelled
her to become a dynamic motivational speaker, inspiring
all who listen to her to pursue their passion.
When
asked to what she credits the great demand for her
services, 'Ms. Ellie,' as she is so affectionately
referred to by many of her clients and colleagues
states,
"God
has always been my agent. Although I have never campaigned
for
an assignment, I have continuously perfected my
craft and searched for my highest good knowing that
what
I am seeking is also seeking me. I believe that
when one prepares oneself, opportunity will present
itself.
This gift has allowed me the privilege of experiencing
many people on such a personal level and I know
that as our spirits connect, I am lead to address
each
artist's individual needs. In a position of servanthood,
one must come to know ones demeanor and attitude
are just as important as your ability to execute
the look required by the production. I am honored
that God would use me through the art of make-up
to touch the lives of others. It is my constant
prayer that as the elevation continues, I remain
humble
and always remember from whence I came and from
whom my blessings flow."
